SANCTUARY WITHIN

We sought to provide this cafe space its own strong identity, separate to the shopping centre it was located in.  
At the same time the relationship between the centre and the café needed to be balanced and celebrated.
 

Design vehicles included; the introduction of curves and soft edges to sit within the clean lines of the centre and to celebrate the natural light available to us in the entry court by introducing a large greenery component to further cement the SANCTUARY sentiment. 

The palette is soft, undulating, and bright with the use of secondary colours to balance the strong materials and primary colours of the centre.
