BASS & FLINDERS

500sqm

Sans Souci, NSW

This uniqueness of this floating pavilion is uncompromised with no others like it in Australia. Located at the mouth of Georges River in Sans Souci the pier is currently used by Bass & Flinders for whale watching & sightseeing tours.

Bond Theory was approached to help refurbish pavilion into a mixed food & beverage offering and help find market direction.

The design included façade refurbishment for street appeal, café to service casual foreshore patrons and n approachable fine dining restaurant & function venue.

The ashen timber external cladding offsetting the reflective glass will stand the test of time with the harsh environment. The interior with neutral tones is textural and comfortable with the views really being the showcase we transition down to the bathroom amenity with navy blue, stone and accenting gold trims which make you feel you are under the inky water line.
